Technology and Method

Precision comes from the combination of latest-generation CNC machinery and digital management of machining parameters.
Each threading cycle is programmed to ensure consistency of pitch, depth, and diameter, regardless of production volume or geometric complexity.

Thanks to automatic control systems for cutting load and torque, every tool operates in optimal conditions, reducing vibrations and profile defects. The result is a perfectly formed thread, with a smooth surface and a coupling that precisely meets project specifications.

Controlled Tools and Parameters

Every material, alloy, or diameter requires a dedicated approach.
For this reason, we use taps, dies, and hard metal, HSS, or PVD-coated inserts, selected based on the component type and the required depth.
Attention to detail extends to targeted lubrication and cooling, which maintain constant temperature and ensure a clean and regular cut.

Programmed tool replacement and verification of their condition ensure repeatability and uniformity of the threaded profile, even in series production.

Verification and Quality Control

Every thread is verified using certified gauges and three-dimensional measuring machines (CMM), which allow for checking pitch, diameter, shape, and concentricity with micrometric precision. The process is documented in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, with complete traceability of control data and production parameters.

Verifications include functional tests on couplings to guarantee smooth screwing and absence of anomalous friction, fundamental elements for long-term reliability.

Thread Cleaning and Finishing

After machining, every component is deburred and cleaned to eliminate metallic residues and ensure a perfectly clear thread. When necessary, a refinement vibratory finishing is applied to homogenize the surface and improve mechanical sealing.

The result is a clean, precise thread, ready for assembly, in line with Baggi Die Casting quality standards.
