From design to aluminum die casting

PROCESSING

A complete and controlled production process

At Baggi Die Casting, the quality of every component stems from an integrated approach that combines design, die casting, and mechanical processing.

We internally manage all main phases of the production cycle, ensuring continuity, traceability, and uniformity of the result. Every piece is followed from the first technical drawing up to the finished product, passing through rigorous controls and dedicated finishes. Our goal is to offer assembly-ready components, compliant with required standards and in line with the expectations of clients across various industrial sectors.

Mold design and construction: the foundation of quality

Every production begins with mold design, a decisive moment where the geometry, functionality, and precision of the final component are defined.
Through the use of latest-generation CAD/CAM 3D software, our technical team studies every detail: parting lines, extraction points, flow balancing, and cooling optimization.

The construction phase is entrusted to the internal tool shop or to certified partners, who use high-quality steels and specific heat treatments to ensure the mold's long lifespan and stability over time. Before mass production, every mold is tested, sampled, and validated, ensuring consistent performance and dimensional precision from the very first cycle.

Die Casting: solidity and lightness

Aluminum die casting is the foundation of our production process.

Thanks to presses ranging from 200 to 1,200 tons, we produce small and medium-sized parts in various aluminum alloys and zamak, with complex geometries and reduced tolerances.
Every casting is monitored in real time to ensure uniform filling, absence of porosity, and dimensional stability.
The integrated management of the die casting cycle allows us to maintain high standards of efficiency and quality, reducing time and scrap.

After casting, the components undergo finishing treatments such as sandblasting, deburring, vibratory finishing, mechanical processing, or surface treatments like painting, cataphoretic painting, galvanizing, etc., which improve their aesthetic appearance and resistance over time. Attention to detail allows us to obtain finished parts ready for use in a wide range of technical applications.

Mechanical Processing: precision and control

After the die casting phase, the components are finished in our CNC mechanical processing department, where the functional characteristics of the part take shape.
We work with high-precision lathes, milling machines, and machining centers, capable of performing every type of rework: drilling, threading, boring, and milling.

Every process is planned according to the customer's specifications and verified using three-dimensional measuring instruments, in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The result is a completely finished, controlled, and compliant component, ready to be assembled or integrated into the final product.
Finishes

Finishes and quality control

All our processes are accompanied by structured quality control procedures. Every phase is monitored to verify dimensional compliance, geometric precision, and part cleanliness.
When requested, we provide dimensional reports and technical documentation, offering maximum transparency and traceability of the production process.

Thanks to a network of specialized partners, we also manage personalized surface treatments — from anodizing to galvanizing — to ensure protection, resistance, and an impeccable aesthetic.
