Die Casting in Aluminum and Zamak Alloys

Technology, experience and control in every casting

Aluminum die casting is the core of our production. It is a process that requires a balance of technical competence, parameter control, and material knowledge.
At Baggi Die Casting, every casting is born from an internally designed mold and a production cycle optimized to guarantee quality, repeatability, and constant performance over time.

We use 46100 aluminum alloys and, upon request, zinc alloys (zamak), selected for their properties of mechanical strength and dimensional stability.
The result is a component ready for subsequent processing stages, compliant with project specifications and the most rigorous industry regulations.
PROCESSES

A Controlled Process at Every Stage

Die casting makes it possible to obtain complex parts with reduced tolerances and excellent mechanical characteristics. Our presses range from 200 to 1,200 tons, allowing us to produce small and medium-sized articles, from precision technical components to larger structural bodies.

Every phase of the process — from alloy preparation to the injection cycle — is monitored by digital systems that ensure constant temperatures, pressures, and times, reducing waste and casting defects. This approach allows us to ensure dimensional uniformity and high-level surface finishes on every manufactured component.
Certifications

Quality Control and Traceability

Quality is our constant point of reference. Every production batch is subjected to metrological and visual checks to detect any porosity, deformation, or surface irregularities.

The quality department operates according to the criteria of the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, guaranteeing complete traceability of every phase of the process and the conformity of the finished product to the customer's specifications.
FINISHING

Finishes: Aesthetics, Protection, and Functionality

After the die casting phase, the components undergo the necessary surface finishes to achieve the desired aesthetic and technical result.
We manage a complete range of treatments, including:

Deburring and part cleaning

Sandblasting and vibratory finishing

Anodizing and painting

Oxidation, galvanizing, and electroplating treatments

Each treatment is selected based on the type of alloy, the intended use, and the required resistance or protection needs. The goal is to supply a complete, finished, and ready-to-assemble component, with high aesthetic and functional standards.
Efficiency

Production Efficiency and Reliability

Our production organization allows us to manage flexible orders, from small samples to large series, always maintaining the same levels of control and quality.

The integration between design, die casting, and mechanical processing allows us to offer optimized times, process uniformity, and a single point of contact at every stage.
Our experience

Expertise that Takes Shape

Relying on Baggi Die Casting means choosing a partner capable of combining technology, experience, and operational precision. Every die-cast component tells a story of method, control, and attention to detail.
From molten metal to the finished form, our priority remains only one: quality that lasts over time.
